We are extremely excited to announce the continuation of ‘SMC Teach’ the free international learning program for students between the ages of 13-18. SMC Teach was initially created to provide core learning support to students whose education had been negatively impacted as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Today the initiative’s primary focus is preparing students for end of school final examinations and the delicate transition between school and work. This summer sees the continuation of our investment program “InvesTeen’. A program designed to equip students with the investing fundamentals needed to start on their lifelong investment journey. The program will run from Monday 10th – Friday 14th August 2026 accommodating a total of 100 students. The curriculum will include an introduction to markets asset allocation time value of money and risk. On completion of the program each student will receive a $10000 JMD donation towards the opening of a new capital markets account.
